| March Madness Prediction |
|
After the first couple of rounds of the March Madness tournament blow away all of the pretender schools, who thought they had a shot at the National title, there will be eight teams remaining. Those teams, in no particular order, will be Duke, Syracuse, Ohio State, Kansas, Kentucky, Texas, BYU, and Pitt. Of those eight teams, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and Texas will all emerge as the final four teams, unless they face each other in the elite eight round. If our final four works out the way we are predicting, we expect the matchups to be, Duke vs. Kansas, and Kentucky vs. Texas. Throughout the regular season, these four teams have proven to be the best in the NCAA. We feel that Texas will make be able to defeat Kentucky with late game heroics from guard Corey Joseph. Conversely, if this past Wednesday's game between Duke and North Carolina wasn't enough to convince you, that the Duke Blue Devils with or without Kyrie Irving can repeat as National Champions, then their final four victory will against Kansas. The Jayhawks have one of the best players in the entire NCAA in guard Josh Selby. However, with the emergence of Seth Curry, and the Plumlee brothers, to help seniors Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler, in Kyrie Irving's absence, the Duke Blue Devils have the most well rounded team this season. Look for Duke to defeat Texas in a close hard fought battle on some late game heroics by Nolan Smith. |
