Seahawks Release LenDale White

You don't need any good NFL betting tips to know that LenDale White hasn't been the player that he was back in college. In NCAA football betting terms, he was a week-in, week-out dominant force in the backfield that had to be accounted for. While Reggie Bush did all of the razzle and dazzle on the outside, White brought the pain with the hard running between the tackles.

In the NFL? Not so much. White had a couple of decent seasons with the Tennessee Titans but weight problems, tequila and a poor work ethic led to a trade to the Seattle Seahawks prior to the NFL Draft. It looked like it might be a match made in heaven as White was reunited with his college coach, Pete Carroll, but Carroll quickly found out that things have changed.

And now the Seahawks don't even want him.

White actually earned himself a four-game suspension on Friday but that may not even be the reasons why he was released. Some odds makers in the sportsbook just believe that the Seahawks have a very crowded backfield with Justin Forsett, Leon Washington and Julius Jones, and they didn't really have a need for White. Especially if he's mailing in his efforts.

He might be young but at this point, White won't be affecting NFL point spreads in the coming year.
